ALES Score Type: NUMERIC (NUM)

Dear candidate students;

In the 2022-2023 Spring Semester, a face-to-face science exam will be held in Doctoral Programs;

Candidates will receive 50% of their ALES score in the numerical score type, 30% of the science exam, and 20% of the undergraduate (and/or) graduate grade point average.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

Acceptance of students to the doctoral program will be carried out by evaluating the students who meet the application conditions specified in the 9th Article of Üsküdar University Postgraduate Education and Examination Regulations according to the 17th Article of the same regulation.

Accordingly, candidates who will apply to doctoral programs must meet the following conditions:

Candidates who will apply to the doctoral program must have a master's degree in Biology, Psychology or Health Sciences.
Students who do not meet this requirement but who have completed their master's degree in Science (Chemistry, Physics) and Engineering (Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemical-Biological Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering) should take Scientific Preparation education.*
Graduate graduation grade point averages must be at least 2.5 out of 4 coefficients.
Candidates applying to the doctoral program must get a score of at least 55 from YDS or an equivalent score from a foreign language exam accepted by the Interuniversity Board.
In addition, Turkish students who have completed their master's degree programs in foreign countries must also obtain an equivalence certificate from the Higher Education Council.
(*) For scientific preparation courses, fees are made per course apart from the relevant program fee.
