Child Development (Thesis / Non-Thesis) Master’s Program;
Through Child Development (Thesis / Non-Thesis) Master’s Program; it is aimed to develop Child Development Specialist who can make diagnosis and evaluation about the development of children and adolescents between 0-18 age group under normal development, special needs, acute and chronic illnesses, in need of protection and at developmental risk, who can take part in health, education and social areas and who can do family counseling while applying technological, scientific methods and techniques, adopt an eclectic approach and be bound to ethical values.
The Child Development Program consists of two or four semesters, with or without thesis, respectively. In the curriculum designed to train qualified Child Development Specialists, diversity was provided in compulsory and elective courses according to the specialization of the field of child development such as parent education, development theories, observation techniques, communication with children, play, and early intervention.
