Forensic Physics Laboratory

Forensic Sciences produces scientific solutions to the questions and problems of law regarding physical evidence through possibilities, abilities and experiments within the scope of basic sciences and it benefits from different branches such as especially physics, chemistry, biology and pathology, toxicology, genetics. Physics is one of the essentials (sine qua non) for forensic science.
Üsküdar University, which established the first forensic science education at the undergraduate level in Türkiye, aims to enable graduates to work as expert personnel in criminal laboratories, public and private institutions and organizations that will work with all kinds of criminal evidence, with the difference of physics education within the engineering faculties.
Various evaluations and examinations are carried out under laboratory conditions in order to provide technical support in detecting and proving the crime and criminal by utilizing the developing Technologies through tangible evidence obtained by physically examining and evaluating during forensic and administrative investigations.
