Anatomy Laboratory

Anatomy is an ancient science of human history. It means "cut to pieces" in Greek. It’s Latin term is dissection.

Anatomy in general; It examines the normal structure of the human body, its organs, the connections between organs, systems and structural relations. This branch of medical sciences is not only limited to macroscopic anatomy and systematic anatomy but also has developmental anatomy, functional anatomy, clinical anatomy, artistic anatomy, radiological anatomy and sports anatomy parallel to the branches of medicine. Giving basic information about human anatomy, education is realized with theoretical and practical applications. Develops the ability to understand the logic and scientific processes of science, to comprehend the scientific attitude, to gain the ability to do scientific research, to apply scientific methods and techniques, to classify the collected information by using different methods and techniques used in anatomy and to evaluate the findings and to understand the place of human health.

The Anatomy Laboratory, established within Üsküdar University, uses health-related programs in the School of Health Sciences and the Vocational School of Health Services. Under laboratory conditions, students have the opportunity to identify, evaluate and discuss all systems using enriched anatomical models.
