Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory

The Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory conducts interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research to foster collaboration between academia and industry, as well as to produce innovative products and services that the industry needs.

Beginning in their second year of study, our students actively participate in laboratory applications and research projects to get professional experience. Academic personnel in the department as well as graduate students working in subjects like microbiology, recombinant DNA technologies, microbiology, human genetics and polymorphism, and biotechnology are given opportunity to conduct research at the laboratory.

In order to meet the growing demands of the industry and support molecular biology-based R&D and innovation studies in our nation, our Molecular Biology and Genetics Laboratory has adopted the principle of developing new techniques that will guarantee scientific advancement and designing products that will be used for the benefit of both science and humanity.
