Prosthetics and Orthotics Workshop

Orthopedic Prosthetics and Orthotics department is aimed to educate the healthcare staff to;

• Apply prosthesis for individuals who have lost arms and/or legs due to various reasons
• Apply orthosis (assistive devices) who have disorders in musculoskeletal anatomy in accordance with the proper anatomical and physiological structure for the people to continue with their daily routine activities.

In Prosthetics and Orthotics Workshop, students are trained with the information about the equipment using in their professional career and are contributed the development of hand skills with several applications.
