Operating Laboratory
Our operating room laboratory; Our students have all the inventory in the room of the operating theater where they will encounter at the post-graduation stage and prepare the first grade students for the hospital environment before the hospital applications. Our students gain many applications related to their profession such as preparation of the operating room, preparation of the patient's surgery, assisting the surgeon during the surgery, transfer of the patient, collection of the operating table, etc. practically in our laboratory.
Operating Room Technician
It is a surgical healthcare staff who can aid during surgical operation and provide practical and theoretical equipment in other fields of health sciences in the same time as a multidisciplinary assistant who is used directly in all surgical teams, provides all surgical materials used in the operating room and used during surgery.
Operating room laboratory specifications for technicians
The responsibilities of the operating room technician if there is no expect or specialist in the operating room are;
- Pre-operative preparation of surgical table and instruments,
- Being able to assist the surgical team during surgery,
- To be able to provide sterilization (disinfecting) of the instruments used after the operation,
- To be able to maintain, clean, maintain and supply all devices and instruments in the operating room
- To be able to maintain the sterilization of the operating room.
