Podology Laboratory

The Podology Program trains technicians who recognize the problems that occur in the foot, who can care for the feet of individuals directed by physicians according to the diagnosis and treatment methods, and who have the ability to assist in medical foot care in healthy individuals.

In accordance with the stated goals, students in the Podology laboratory are given the opportunity to practice applications in order to gain the ability to use the tools and devices developed in the field of podology competently, as well as the knowledge they need to protect foot health and prevent potential diseases. Medical foot care, orthonyxia techniques, onychoplasty applications, bandages, finger pads, and foot supports applications, as well as the assessment, prevention, and treatment of foot health issues, nail pathologies, and calluses, are all conducted in the laboratory as part of the program courses.
