Radio Studio

The radio studio located on the fourth floor in the Central Campus of Üsküdar University is the meeting point of students who are interested in radio broadcasting. Students can broadcast a radio program; can do recording and they can host a guest in the studio.

Purpose of the Radio Studio

Radio studio is designed to provide an applied radio education to our students of all the departments within our university but especially to our students of departments within Faculty of Communication. It provides an applied education area for courses such as Digital Radio, Radio Broadcasting and Radio Journalism within Department of Radio, Television and Cinema, and t hosts many activities by Radio Club and various other student clubs.

Facilities of the Radio Studio

It broadcasts 24 hours nonstop various playlist and its program via the Internet on the website radyo.uskudar.edu.tr. The broadcast quality is 32 kbps, stereo and acc. There are 3 stereo microphones with different angles. Broadcast streaming is provided by an automation system.  ÜU Radio broadcast with a pop music genre and its programs are mainly on youth, culture and education.
