Prof. Dr. Barış BİNAY graduated from Ankara University, Department of Chemistry in 2002. In 2006, he received his MSc degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics and Biotechnology from Istanbul Technical University and in 2012 he received his PhD degree in the same field from Istanbul Technical University. She worked as a researcher at the University of Bristol under the supervision of RB Sessions during her MSc and at Manchester Interdisciplinary Biocentre under the supervision of Prof. NJ Turner during her PhD. She then completed her PhD thesis titled “Development of Novel Biocatalysts” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Nevin Gül Karagüler from Istanbul Technical University and Prof. N. J. Turner from Manchester University.
