This time, the Meta-Medicine project won the first prize
Emre Kaan Şanverdi, who is a 3rd year student of Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Computer Engineering, and Mustafa Şanverdi, a 6th year student of Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine, were awarded the first prize in the 7th International R&D Project Market organized by Bartın University. The awards were presented to the brothers from Üsküdar, who won the first place with their project titled "Meta-Tıp" (Meta-Medicine), by the Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, the Governor of Bartın Dr. Nurtaç Arslan and the Rector of Bartın University Prof. Orhan Uzun.

The project, which offers the opportunity to experience critical surgeries in the closest way to reality with VR glasses with simulations of complex surgical cases, draws attention with this aspect.
The project was previously awarded a gold certificate
The Meta-Tıp project was previously awarded with the Gold Certificate in the "1 Idea 1 World" competition hosted by the Turkish Inventors Association (TÜMMİAD).
They were also accepted to WISH 2024
At the same time, the brothers from Üsküdar participated in Teknofest with their projects and were accepted to the WISH 2024 (World Innovation Summit for Health) organization.
