Dear Candidate Students,
In the Fall Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year, 15 new students will be admitted to the thesis program and 30 new students to the non-thesis program in our Applied Psychology Master's Programs.
FOR THE APPLIED PSYCHOLOGY MASTER'S PROGRAM (THESIS or without THESIS), THE SCIENCE EXAM WILL NOT BE TAKEN AT 2024-2025 FALL SEMESTER STUDENTS ACCEPTANCE.
In order to apply to the program (thesis), candidates must have taken the ALES exam and must have received at least 55 points from the Equal Weight point type.
-In Master's Programs (Thesis), 65% of the ALES in the relevant score type and 35% of the undergraduate graduation grade point average will be additioned and placed in the ranking.
-In the calculation of the non-thesis program score, 50% of the Equal Weight point type ALES score and 50% of the undergraduate graduation grade point average converted to the 100-point system will be taken as a basis.
-The system will automatically assign 55 points for applicants who do not have an ALES score when applying to the non-thesis program.
The applications of the candidates of those who don’t apply online or hadn’t graduate at the time of application, or those who don’t upload the ALES document of the last 5 years for the thesis program and the document showing the undergraduate graduation grade point average to the application system will be deemed invalid.
Students who are accepted to programs with and without thesis will be able to transfer to programs with and without thesis, only if there is an open quota in the program they want to pass, in the order of equally weighted ALES scores among the students who apply for the transfer.
Lessons in this program are held in the weekends (15 hours per week in total between 9:30-17:30 on Saturday and Sunday).

– The original and a photocopy of the undergraduate diploma
– The original and a copy of the undergraduate transcript
– ALES exam result document (for thesis program)
– Copy of the Identity Card
– Photo (4 pieces)
– Reference Letter is not required.
The Applied Psychology Master's Program does not provide the clinician title and the opportunity to see clients after graduation and to work in hospitals. Candidates who graduated from the Department of Psychology and other disciplines in the Applied Psychology Master's Program synthesize their own knowledge and psychology knowledge by graduating from this program. Graduates of Psychology and Psychological Counseling-Guidance Undergraduate Programs can apply to the Applied Psychology Master's Program or to the Clinical Psychology Master's Program.
Those who apply to the Applied Psychology Master's Program from non-area bachelors are subjected to scientific preparatory training for 1 academic year (not counting from the Master's education).
