Kemal Öztürk born in Ağrı and completed his secondary education in Sakarya. He graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism. During his student life, he started his writing life by publishing articles in various magazines and newspapers. He started professional journalism in Yeni Şafak Newspaper in 1995. He transferred to Kanal 7 television in 1997 and started broadcasting. He signed a documentary about the life of Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Afterwards, he made many documentaries on subjects such as the First Assembly, Yemen, the 1999 Earthquake, the history of the women's movement in Turkey and Halide Edip, Ottoman Modernization and Pera. It was awarded the best documentary of the year by the Turkish Writers Union in 1999. In 1999, he went to America and Canada, studied foreign language and conducted research in the field of documentary. In 2003, he became the Communications Advisor to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. Two years later, he was appointed as the Chief Advisor to the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. In 2008, he worked as an advisor to AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
