About Edirne Complex of Sultan Bayezid II Health Museum:

The complex, which was built by Sultan Bayezid II in Edirne in 1488 and is one of the important structures of the Ottoman Period, consists of many units such as a 30-bed hospital, a medical madrasah, a mosque, a guesthouse, an imaret and a bath.

Health services are provided in many fields such as psychiatry, plastic surgery, otorhinolaryngology, gynecology, ophthalmology, and infectious diseases.

The most important feature of Darüşşifa is that in addition to medical practices, music, water sound, aromatherapy and occupation therapy are used especially in the treatment of psychiatric patients.
