Assoc. Prof. Mesut Karahan is the New Provincial Representative for the Ministry of Industry and Technology Public-University-Industry Cooperation

Assoc. Prof. Mesut Karahan from the Üsküdar University academic staff; Head of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics, was appointed as the Provincial Representative of the Public-University-Industry Cooperation. Assoc. Prof. Mesut Karahan has worked in several graduate theses and research projects (national-international). There are many international and national articles, books, book chapters, papers available.

Karahan will continue to work to strengthen and develop the Public-University-Industry Cooperation (PUIC), which has an important role in the development of the country's economy by increasing its R&D and innovation capacity.

Members of the Working Group are appointed for a period of one year, and every year, upon the request of the ministry, the academicians who are proposed by the Rectorate and are deemed appropriate by the Ministry, are appointed as PUIC Working Group Members.

This year, there are 9 states and 40 foundations in Istanbul, which makes it a total of 49 universities and 6 academicians will be assigned as the Ministry's PUIC İstanbul Provincial Representatives and 90 academicians across Turkey.

Karahan from the Academic Staff of our university started working in May 2019.
