Üsküdar University NeuroSpectra team ranked 3rd in the TEKNOFEST 2024 Biotechnology and Innovation-Rare Diseases Genetic Treatment Category (RaDiChal) with their project titled "An Innovative Approach in ALS Treatment: Progranulin Enhancement and Autophagy Activation". Awards were given to the students at TEKNOFEST 2024 held in Adana.
Under the leadership of Üsküdar University TRGENMER Director and RaDiChal Founding Director RaDIChal (Rare Disease Challenge), which has been operating since 2020, Asst. Prof. Cihan Taştan, it was included in TEKNOFEST 2024 under the Rare Diseases Category of the Biotechnology Innovation Competition this year.

At the award ceremony held in Adana between October 02-06 2024, the awards were presented to the team by Minister of Industry and Technology Fatih Mehmet Kaç, Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Osman Aşkın Bak, President of Defense Industries Prof. Haluk Görgün and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of T3 Foundation / Chairman of the Board of Directors of Teknofest Selçuk Bayraktar.
