The past, present and future of psychological counseling were discussed
A panel titled "Past, Present and Future of Psychological Counseling" was organized by the İstanbul Directorate of National Education and hosted by Üsküdar University. The opening speech of the panel, which was held within the scope of September 30 National Psychological Counselors Day, was made by Deputy Director of İstanbul Provincial National Education Mehmet Nezir Eryarsoy.
A large number of educators from all over İstanbul participated in the panel held in the Nermin Tarhan conference hall.
The opening speech of the program was made by Deputy Director of National Education of İstanbul Mehmet Nezir Eryarsoy.
In the program, which attracted great interest from guidance teachers and psychological counselors, Betül Coskun, Coordinator of İstanbul Teacher Academies Guidance Workshops, also made a speech.
Mehmet Nezir Eryarsoy: "We are all here for the love of children"
Expressing that they think that psychological counselors and guidance teachers are one step ahead of other branches in protecting the health of the society and raising healthy individuals, Deputy Director of İstanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education Mehmet Nezir Eryarsoy stated that "We are all here for the sake of the children, we are fighting for the love of the children. Although our sky today is not as clear as we would like for obvious reasons, we will continue our efforts to make the sky clearer than ever with your support and work. We think that perhaps our psychological counselors and guidance teachers are one step ahead of other branches in protecting the health of a society and raising healthy individuals. In this sense, the work of our Ministry of National Education and our Provincial Directorate comes to the fore day by day, every year. In this regard, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you again to our teachers who participated the most, our guidance academy in our academies, and the teachers of our guidance workshop. We, as the ministry, as our provincial directorate, as the workshops, are aware of your value."
After the opening speeches, Prof. Mehmet Engin Deniz, Prof. Alim Kaya, Prof. Müge Yukay Yüksel and Assoc. Prof. Durmuş Ümmet delivered their speeches in the panel titled "Past, Present and Future of Psychological Counseling".
The program, which also included a music concert, ended with a group photo shoot.
