2024 – 2025 Academic Board Meetings have started in Üsküdar...

The Academic Board Meetings organized by Üsküdar University in preparation for the 2024-2025 academic year started with the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Graduate School of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, and the Vocational School of Health Services. At the meetings, which were also attended by President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, comprehensive evaluations were made about the strategies, academic processes and general functioning to be implemented in the new academic year.

The first of the new academic year board meetings was held at the Main Campus Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall.

The meeting was attended by President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Vice-Rectors Prof. Sevil Atasoy, Prof. Türker Tekin Ergüzel, Advisor to the Rector Prof. Muhsin Konuk, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Prof. Osman Çerezci, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) Prof. Mesut Karahan and many academic and administrative staff.

Academic goals in the new semester were discussed

At the meeting, the future vision of the university and its academic goals in the new term were discussed. Moreover, projects aimed at improving the quality of education of the university and innovative practices that will contribute to the development of students were also evaluated. Proposals to make existing academic and administrative processes more efficient were also discussed at the meeting.

National and international empowerment steps were discussed

At the Academic Board Meeting, the current situation, academic achievements and research projects of Üsküdar University were evaluated in detail.

The committee also discussed the steps to be taken to further strengthen the university in the national and international arena in the coming period.

The meeting ended after receiving their opinions and suggestions.

Academic Board Meetings will continue with other faculties.
