TÜBİTAK will support the projects of 7 more students from Üsküdar

Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) students and faculty members have achieved another important success. The support results of the applications to the "TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program" carried out by the TÜBİTAK Scientist Support Programs Directorate (BİDEB) have been announced. In this context, a total of 7 projects were deemed suitable for support by TÜBİTAK.

Prof. Mesut Karahan: "It is very important to be able to transform ideas into project formats"

Evaluating the accepted projects, VSHS Director Prof. Mesut Karahan stated that "We think that it is very important for our VSHS students to learn their professional knowledge at VSHS, as well as to be able to transform their ideas into a project format with these projects. I believe that they will improve their research capabilities and new projects will be yielded in the future. We attach importance to project writing trainings so that our students can gain and develop these competencies within VSHS."

3 projects from the Medical Promotion and Marketing Program were entitled to receive support

Three projects under the consultancy of Head of Medical Promotion and Marketing Program Asst. Prof. Damla Yılmazoğlu were entitled to receive support. In the team of Yılmazoğlu, who undertook the project consultancy, the projects that were entitled to be supported by TÜBİTAK are as follows:

Sudenaz Ermurat: "The Impact of Moral Norms on Green Purchasing Behavior in the Context of Planned Behavior Theory: The Regulatory Role of Social Justice Advocacy"

Nisanur Gökçek: "The Effect of Perceived Value on Domestic Waste Separation Behavior: The Regulatory Role of Environmental Awareness"

Dilara Kıyan: The Impact of the Consumer's Need for Uniqueness on Mass Luxury Brand Inspiration and Mass Luxury Brand Purchase Intention: The Mediating Role of Fashion Awareness"

Two projects from the Medical Laboratory Techniques Program were entitled to receive support

Two projects under the consultancy of Head of Medical Laboratory Techniques Program Asst. Prof. Ömer Faruk Karasakal were entitled to receive support.

In the team of Karasakal who undertook the project consultancy, the projects that were entitled to be supported by TÜBİTAK are as follows:

Duru Su Orkun: "In silico analysis of misunderstood SNPs in the CDH9 gene"

Gizem Korkmaz: The project titled "Bioinformatics analysis of misunderstood SNPs in the SNCA gene associated with Parkinson's Disease"

Two projects from the Medical Imaging Techniques and Food Technology Program were also entitled to receive support

Asst. Prof. Öznur Özge Özcan's project titled "Investigation of the Psychological Effects of Medical Imaging under the Possibility of Breast Cancer", which she applied with Filiz Censor, a student of the Medical Imaging Techniques Program, and Food Technology Program Instructor Selen Akbulut's project titled "Determination of the Possible Presence of Microplastics in Mineral Waters", which she applied to with her student Büşra Sağlık, were also entitled to be supported by TÜBİTAK.
