Üsküdar University Academicians met at the Science Communication Summit

The conference based on “Human’s search of meaning” was organized by BİAKADEMİ with the scientific support of Üsküdar University. Üsküdar University academics took part in the Science Communication Summit as speakers.



Üsküdar University Founding President Prof. Nevzat Tarhan gave the opening speech of the conference. Afterwards, Üsküdar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology Faculty Member Prof. Sinan Canan made a presentation titled “Human as Part of Meaning”.



Üsküdar University Vice Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Tayfun Doğan gave a conference on “Human's Search for Meaning: What Should One Devote Life to?”.



Üsküdar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Sociology Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Barış Erdoğan talked about “the Sociology of love” and touched on that love is not much loved by the authorities.



Üsküdar University Advisor to President, Faculty of Medicine Department Head of Internal Medicine Prof. Tayfun Uzbay made a presentation entitled “Women Brain, Men Brain” and emphasized that the human brain is focused on pleasure in general.
