The "Silent Kindness Platform" by the Haydi Tut Elimi (Hold My Hand) Rehabilitation Education and Aid Association was established within the scope of the sustainability of the "Ambassadors for Volunteering: Silent Kindness Platform" project supported by the Turkish Red Crescent Society. For this purpose, the first meeting was held with the member associations of the platform.

The meeting held in the Senate hall was attended by President of Üsküdar University and President of the Association Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Young Minds Academy Application and Research Center (GBA) Director Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar, Advisor to the Rector Prof. İsmail Barış, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology, Asst. Prof. Fatma Turan, Haydi Tut Elimi Association Secretary Ayşe Banu Güngenci, Board Members Serpil Tarhan and Ayşegül Yolu.

Within the scope of the project, Üsküdar Mayor Hilmi Türkmen, Üsküdar District Governor Adem Yazıcı and Turkish Red Crescent Üsküdar Branch President Dr. Mustafa Karadeniz are the project participants.

It is aimed to develop a culture of volunteering

With the project, it is aimed to support the coordinated work of Non-Governmental Organizations in addition to developing the culture of volunteerism in the society in order to create effective communication channels with the aim to encourage volunteering and to convey the gains of volunteering to young people more effectively. Moreover, the objectives of the Ambassadors for Volunteering: Silent Kindness Platform also include ensuring and strengthening the cooperation between the public and non-governmental organizations, increasing the effectiveness of non-governmental organizations and improving the quality of service, creating a model in line with the principles of transparency, accountability, participation, efficiency in order to provide services for civil society effectively and efficiently, and ensuring participation in social life with practical trainings.

The meeting was attended by many associations

Haydi Tut Elimi Rehabilitation Education and Aid Association, Turkish Red Crescent Üsküdar Branch Directorate, Hazar Education, Culture and Solidarity Association, İstanbul Caucasian Culture Association, Nar Masalları (Pomegranate Tales) Association, Askıda 3D (3D Donate) Association, Orphan Foundation, International Youth Volunteers Association and YEKDER-Non-Formal Education and Culture Association attended the meeting, in which information about the establishment of the platform and the organs of the platform was shared.

Those who take place in the project team are as follows: Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology, Asst. Prof. Fatma Turan as the Project Coordinator, Advisor to the Rector Prof. İsmail Barış as the Project Academic Advisor, and Director of the Young Minds Academy Application and Research Center (GBA) Prof. Nebiye Yaşar as the Project Advisor, Haydi Tut Elimi Association Secretary Ayşe Banu Güngenci as the Assistant Project Coordinator, Ayşegül Şekli as the Project Administrative Assistant and Asst. Prof Melike Boztilki as researcher.
