Üsküdar University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Cartoon and Animation organized the event "Design Processes in Mobile Game". SPYKE Games Illustrator Onur Karadağ attended the event. Karadağ said that Türkiye did not enter the game industry due to the dollar exchange rate difference.

The event was held at the South Campus Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall.

"Keeping track of data is important to track revenue"

Talking about the development process of the game industry in Türkiye, SPYKE Games Illustrator Onur Karadağ mentioned that Türkiye did not enter the game industry due to the dollar exchange rate difference. Karadağ stated that "Due to the dollar exchange rate difference in Türkiye, there is not much entry into the game industry. Companies that produce games abroad earn good income from this business. Teamwork is very important here. The area where our office is strongest is software, it is important to follow the data and to track the revenue."

"Give importance to teamwork"

Giving advice to the students participating in the event, Karadağ said that "First of all, you can think about the mobile side in the game industry, and then you can set up a studio when you earn income. When you set up a studio, give importance to the team, to teamwork, do not enter the team where only the orders coming out directly from the boss are implemented. Meet people in the industry as much as you can. When we hire someone, we search for who can be a reference, and we hire people who we get positive feedback from."

Showing their own games to the event participants, Karadağ stated that he actively uses LinkedIn and that business offers is constantly coming from here.

The event continued with a question and answer session and ended after a group photo shoot.
