"Design with Artificial Intelligence" exhibition opened

Üsküdar University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Visual Communication Design, "Design with Artificial Intelligence" exhibition was held as part of the final project of the 2023 spring semester GIT10 Basic Design course. Visual Communication Design students brought together the works they prepared under the supervision of the Head of the Department Prof. And Algül with the visitors in the South Campus C-D Block Lobby area.

Within the scope of the project, Visual Communication Design students used artificial intelligence to design a poster for a product or service by turning their own photos into avatars in a certain special day concept in futuristic, vintage and heroic styles.

Another pillar of the project was the special day concept study.

It aims to raise awareness in the handling of the product or service within the scope of the special day concept and the consideration of the product or service for which the poster work is carried out in terms of social responsibility.

The starting point of the project was the department event titled "Artificial Intelligence and Design" held with Salvo Agency Founder and Creative Director Okan Saykun and the external stakeholder meeting held with Dijifabrik Agency presidents Yusuf Dahi and Ahmet Beliktay.

Within the scope of developing technology, it has been carried out to prepare the designers of the future for the sector by creating original projects according to current trends by making students apply how the subject of artificial intelligence and design, which is a current topic, can be used in the field.

Within the scope of the project, a design was made to create posters for the product or service with the photoshop application by using various artificial intelligence environments for original visual production.

The "Design with Artificial Intelligence" exhibition can be visited between October 23-27.
