Somali Delegation visited Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör

Member of the People's Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia Sadiq Abdullahi Abdi and President of the Voice of Somalia Association Hashim Abdullahi Abdi visited Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör at her office. During the visit, the tendencies and potential of Somali students to receive education in Türkiye were evaluated.

Üsküdar University is on its way to becoming the preferred education base in its region while focusing on its educational activities in the international arena.

Member of the People's Assembly of the Federal Parliament of Somalia Sadiq Abdullahi Abdi, and President of the Voice of Somalia Association Hashim Abdullahi Abdi visited Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör at her office. With the meeting, another important step was taken to strengthen the brand name as Üsküdar University in the international arena.

International Promotion and Marketing Manager Göknur Gündoğar, International Registration and Communication Office Director Dilbar Aliyeva and International Registration and Communication Office Assistant Ali Açıkgenç attended the meeting.

Instead of America or Europe, to Türkiye and to Üsküdar University...

Expressing her contentment with the visit, Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör said that the delegation liked Üsküdar University very much and that the visitors conveyed to them that the university had a good perception in Somalia. Güngör also stated that the delegation expressed the opinion that young people who came to university age in the country would prefer to receive education at Üsküdar University in Türkiye instead of countries such as America and Europe, and Güngör also said that this attitude made them very happy.

Trends and potentials of receiving education in Türkiye were evaluated

At the meeting in whch the tendencies and potentials of Somali students to receive education in Türkiye were evaluated, it was discussed how Somali students can direct the increasing demand for education abroad as Üsküdar University.
