Uskudar University has entered a whole new era with the concept of "Phygital University" which has been implemented in 2020-2021 Academic Year Education. Students benefited most effectively from both physical and digital education on the first day of school.

Covid-19 measures fully implemented

Education at Uskudar University in the fall semester is maintained both face-to-face and mixed (hybrid) in accordance with the concept of phygital university.

Students can follow lessons face-to-face or mixed (hybrid), according to their preferences.

For students who come to the school to follow the course face-to-face, measures taken to protect against Covid-19 are implemented on all campuses of the university.

On the first day of the school year, fire measurement was carried out at the entrances of the campus of students who preferred face-to-face education.

All measures such as information studies, physical distance warnings, and hygiene points have been fully implemented.

Classrooms, libraries, and dining halls located on the campus also applied intermittent seating arrangements.

Orientation surprise from Prof. Dr. Tarhan

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Uskudar University, visited the campuses on the first day of phygital education and examined the studies on site. Prof. Dr. Tarhan, who also made contacts at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in the Southern Campus, participated also in the student orientation program organized online and surprised the new Uskudarians. Prof. Dr. Tarhan greeted the students with Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan, Dean of ITBF (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences).
