A quality-focused student meeting was held at Üsküdar VSHS

 Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) brought student representatives together with the Quality Council to ensure a better understanding of the quality assurance system and student-centered education approach. Speaking at the meeting, Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) Director Prof. Mesut Karahan emphasized the importance of mutual communication in the education process.

The meeting was held at Üsküdar University’s Çarşı Campus Emir Nebi Conference Hall. Participants included Prof. Mesut Karahan, Director of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS), Dr. Ömer Faruk Karasakal, Assistant Director of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS), as well as academicians and students.

The meeting addressed quality processes and the role of students in these processes.

The importance of mutual communication in the education process

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Üsküdar University VSHS Director Prof. Mesut Karahan highlighted the significance of mutual communication in the education process. Karahan expressed his appreciation for the participation of student representatives and thanked all attendees for their contributions to the meeting.

The "Plan-Do-Check-Act" cycle was explained

In her presentation, Quality Commission Chair Dr. Öznur Karaoğlu elaborated on the quality processes and the ongoing efforts in detail. Karaoğlu explained the "Plan-Do-Check-Act" cycle and underlined the importance of student responsibilities and contributions within this framework.

Student requests and suggestions will be thoroughly evaluated

During the meeting, the opinions and suggestions of student representatives regarding areas for improvement and strengths at the institutional and program levels were gathered. It was emphasized that student requests and demands would be carefully evaluated. At the end of the meeting, a survey was conducted to analyze the impact of the decisions made on the representatives.

Student-centered education is evolving

Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services aims to strengthen its student-centered education approach and contribute to the sustainability of the quality assurance system through such meetings.
