High School Students in Üsküdar’s Laboratories…
Üsküdar University hosted two high school students as part of the Career Observation Days organized by Ispartakule Işık High School. The students visited the RaDiChal Laboratory and the Aster-ÜÜ TRGENMER Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, where they had the opportunity to learn about scientific research and conduct experiments. Additionally, they were able to put their theoretical knowledge into practice under the guidance of researchers at Üsküdar University.
Sevgi Toprakyaran, Assistant Manager of Educational Institutions and Guidance Services at the Corporate Communications Department, welcomed the visiting students.

As part of the Career Observation Days organized by Ispartakule Işık High School, Üsküdar University hosted two high school students. Melek Nisa Aydın, a 9th-grade student, and Ali Enver Nergiz, an 11th-grade student from Ispartakule Işık High School, had the chance to explore Üsküdar University’s laboratories.
Researchers provided guidance
During the university visit, the students were guided by Buse Kaptan Tekin, a researcher and a student of the Molecular Biology Department at the Graduate School of Science at Üsküdar University, and Naz Ceren Ünal, a researcher and a student of the Molecular Biology and Genetics (English) Department at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. These researchers helped the students apply their theoretical knowledge in practice.
Laboratory tours and experiments were conducted
The students visited the Rare Disease Genetic Therapy Competition (RaDiChal) Laboratory and the Aster-ÜÜ TRGENMER Plant Biotechnology Laboratory, gaining in-depth insights into scientific research. They also received information about the Molecular Biology and Genetics Department at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Üsküdar University and had the opportunity to conduct experiments in a laboratory environment.
