The expanded 2nd edition of the book titled "The Rhythm of Brain Waves from a Psychiatrist's Perspective" written by Prof. Sermin Kesebir met with its readers.

It is necessary to treat both separately...

Pointing out that the bipolar EEG title has a double meaning, Prof. Sermin Kesebir stated that "The first is inspired by a mood disorder we call bipolar disorder, in which periods of depression and mania follow each other and take place together. The second is inspired by the two-pronged structure of EEG. Harmony of slow and fast waves. In nature, everything exists with its opposite. Night and day, or summer and winter... And the two poles of the self: the enthusiastic and passionate grandiose self and the idealized parental image that restrains, legislates, consoles, and soothes. Our talents and skills arising from the harmony of the two, our joy of life and our power to work. When we get sick, we get sick both mentally and physically, both of which need to be treated separately."
