Üsküdar University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Asst. Prof. Müzeyyen Seda Altop took part in the health organization held in Madagascar after the African country of Burundi. Within the scope of the event, which was held between 7-20 September in cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) and the Hands Giving Lives Association, doctors were trained in the field of ENT and Maxillofacial surgery. In addition, 170 patients were served under the supervision of Dr. Altop.
Within the scope of the health organization, in cooperation with TİKA and Hands Giving Lives Association, doctors were trained in the field of ENT and Maxillofacial surgery at Chu Andohatapenaka University in the capital Antananarivo.
In the project hosted by the Turkish Embassy in Burundi, training was carried out on cases and experience and knowledge were shared. Üsküdar University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Within the scope of the study, in which Asst. Prof. Müzeyyen Seda Altop also took part, 170 patients were served in the field of maxillofacial surgery under the supervision of Asst. Prof. M. Seda Altop.
The country's leading media organizations also showed great interest in the work.
Previously, the "Burundi Oral and Dental Health" project was organized with the support of the Friends of All Africa Association (TADD) and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA). The project, hosted by the spouse of the President of Burundi, Angelina Ndaishimiye, and the Burundi embassy, attracted great attention from national radio, television channels and newspapers.
