2024-YKS placement results have been announced. According to the 2024-YKS results, the registration process of the candidates who are entitled to enroll in a program can be done between August 19 and August 23, and electronic registrations can be made between August 19 and August 21.

Stating that 1 million 670 thousand 205 candidates made a choice out of 2 million 755 thousand 301 candidates whose placement scores were calculated, Expert Psychological Counselor Ece Tözeniş expressed that "This year, as in the 2023-YKS placement results, 1 million candidates did not make a choice. In state and foundation universities, 20 thousand 826 quotas in undergraduate programs and 2 thousand 912 quotas in associate degree programs remained vacant. What is interesting here is that there are 2,912 vacancies in foundation universities while there are no vacancies in associate degree programs in state universities. Factors such as graduating in less time such as 2 years and starting business life, the increasing need for intermediate professional staff, and economic conditions have increased the interest of this year's candidates in associate degree."
Registration will be held between August 19-23
Stating that the registrations of the placed candidates will be made between 19-23 August, Expert Psychological Counselor Ece Tözeniş addressed the candidates as follows:

Making suggestions to the candidates who could not be placed, Tözeniş expressed that "There is another chance for those who cannot be placed, additional quota. After the university registrations, a second placement will be made to the quotas left vacant in the first placement and registrations. You can get a chance again by reviewing the guide to be published by ÖSYM regarding additional placement. Those who graduate have a long road ahead of you, the sooner you start working, the sooner you will start to see the results of your work.
