"RINAP 5D Summer School Seminar" closing program certificate ceremony was held
The closing program certificate ceremony of the "RINAP 5D Summer School Seminar"was held in cooperation with Üsküdar University Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) and the Institute of Integrated Knowledge. Certificates were given to the students who successfully completed their education in the summer school, where topics such as 'The Meaning of Existence' and 'The Search for Meaning' were examined with scientific methodology.
The opening speeches of the closing program certificate ceremony, which took place at Üsküdar University South Campus RİNAP Hall, were delivered by Üsküdar University Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Board Member Prof. Alparslan Açıkgenç, Üsküdar University Institute for Sufi Studies and Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RINAP) President Prof. Niyazi Beki, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RINAP) Advisory Board Member Prof. Necati Aydın, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RINAP) Member of the Advisory Board Prof. Faris Kaya.
Sadık Paksoy, Vice President of Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP), Selahattin Arslan, Vice President of Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RINAP), Prof. İlham Miraç, Member of the Board of Directors of Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP), Seyda Ünlükul, Secretary of Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) and 16 students from different countries participated in the certificate program and received their certificates.
Prof. Alparslan Açıkgenç: "I hope this training will be beneficial for you and educators"
Delivering the opening speech of the certificate ceremony, Üsküdar University Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RINAP) Board Member Prof. Alparslan Açıkgenç wished that the training provided would be beneficial. Açıkgenç stated that "Our marathon is over. I hope this training will be useful for you and the educators. We hope it will continue in the generations after you. Our goal was to understand the meaning of existence. 'Why are we here? Why are we in this world? What is our purpose? What are our responsibilities and how do we prepare ourselves to carry them out, and what kind of meaning do we attribute to all of this?' We searched for answers to these questions. I hope this has been useful to all of us. The aim of RINAP is to continue these studies at the graduate level. I hope you will help us with your experience and learning, and you will continue to support us in the future."
Prof. Niyazi Beki: "We will continue our activities in the future"
Prof. Niyazi Beki, President of the Institute of Sufi Studies and the Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RINAP), expressed his great pleasure to host the students from the Institute of Integrated Knowledge and emphasized the importance of practice in learning. Beki stated that "We ae so glad you are here. Our goal is not just to give information, but to realize learning. Because in Islam, knowledge acquired without practice has no meaning. It is gratifying to see Muslim women becoming active in learning activities. It seems that they can be more successful when they are a part of this process. Hopefully, we will continue our activities in the future."
Prof. Necati Aydın: "We treat everyone as a learning partner in the lessons"
Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Advisory Board Member Prof. Necati Aydın attended the ceremony online. Aydın stated that "It is a learning community. In the lessons, we treat everyone as a learning partner, we try to learn together. I think this is very beneficial to the learning community. We have people from a variety of careers, and this has been enriching for us. Thank you for your contribution."
Prof. Faris Kaya: "The more you feel your pain, the closer you will get to Allah"
Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Advisory Board Member Prof. Faris Kaya delivered his speech at the certificate ceremony. Kaya stated that "There is a kind of reflection of the Holy Qur'an, and we need to understand what Allah is saying. The tafsir of ‘Bismillahirrahmanirrahim' says that we need to learn three things: dhikr, idea, gratitude, remembrance, ideas and gratitude. The more you feel your pain, the closer you get to God. I am grateful that you came here and thank you very much. Working with these countries to understand Risale-i Nur was a kind of identity document for me. Thank you all."
The summer school continued for five days
Institute of Integrated Knowledge students participated in the summer school, where the subject of existence and meaning was discussed for five days in the meeting hall of Üsküdar University South Campus Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) and at the same time online and were entitled to receive their certificates.
The closing program ended with a group photo shoot after the presentation of the certificates.
