"RİNAP 5D Summer School Seminar" has begun

The "RİNAP 5D Summer School Seminar" has started, in which topics such as 'The Meaning of Existence' and 'The Search for Meaning' will be examined with scientific methodology. In the seminar organized in cooperation with Üsküdar University Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) and the Institute of Integrated Knowledge, the issues of existence and meaning will be discussed in detail.

On the first day of the seminar held in the Senate Hall of the Central Campus, the opening speeches were made by Prof. Niyazi Beki, President of Üsküdar University Institute for Sufi Studies and Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP), Prof. Alparslan Açıkgenç, Member of the Board of Directors of Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP), and Member of the Advisory Board of Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Prof. Necati Aydın.

Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Vice President Sadık Paksoy, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Vice President Selahattin Arslan, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Board Member Prof. İlham Miraç, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Secretary Seyda Ünlükul and 16 students from different countries participated in the summer school program.

Prof. Niyazi Beki: "We will share our knowledge of existence and meaning"

Expressing that he is very pleased to host the students of the Institute of Integrated Knowledge, ,President of the Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP Prof. Niyazi Beki) stated that "We are very pleased to welcome you here. We will have a pleasant time in summer school and we will share our knowledge of existence and meaning together."

Prof. Alparslan Açıkgenç: "We are in search of meaning from the moment we are born"

Emphasizing that the search for meaning is always in the back of our minds, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Board Member Prof. Alparslan Açıkgenç stated that "In fact, we are in search of meaning from the moment we are born. We may not be able to express this very clearly and deliberately, but we have this search in the back of our minds. When a young child asks, what is this, the question is actually the search for the meaning of that thing, but of course, in the beginning, this search for meaning is more about, you know, the life that we are trying to live in. This is not an inquiry that goes beyond that meaning. In fact, what we are after is a meaning that gives us peace and fulfillment not only in this life, but also in the future. We always keep this in the back of our minds. This seminar was really organized to search for meaning. What is the meaning we are really looking for? How can we find it, and where can we find it, and how can we express it. All these questions are the purpose of this seminar."

Prof. Necati Aydın: "We want there to be an intellectual awakening movement among Muslims"

Stating that he wants the seminars to spread to the Muslim world, Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) Advisory Board Member Prof. Necati Aydın said that "We really appreciate your presence here, and we hope you get the maximum benefit from the seminars. We can spread the word about these seminars and get more people to attend. We want this to be a movement for intellectual awakening among Muslim scholars, Muslim researchers and scientists."

The summer school will continue for five days

Institute of Integrated Knowledge students will participate in the summer school, where the subject of existence and meaning will be discussed for five days at the meeting hall of Üsküdar University South Campus Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) and also online.
