Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Sevim Sayım Madak and President of the Federation of Autism and People with Disabilities Associations Prof. Mustafa Usta visited Üsküdar University. During the meeting, it was discussed that autism-related projects could be carried out by drawing attention to autism awareness. Moreover, it was emphasized that academic studies on autism can be carried out between Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Social Work and the Ministry of Family and Social Services.

Üsküdar University Advisor to the Rector Prof. Mehmet Zelka, Üsküdar University Advisor to the Rector Halide İncekara, Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Social Work Department Head Prof. İsmail Barış and Üsküdar University Deputy Secretary General Ayşe Öztürk attended the meeting held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus.

At the meeting, autism awareness was emphasized, and it was discussed that autism-related projects could be carried out in cooperation with Üsküdar University and the Ministry of Family and Social Services. Moreover, it was emphasized that academic studies on autism can be carried out between Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Social Work and the Ministry of Family and Social Services.

Evaluations were made about the Autism Action Plan

During the meeting, evaluations were made about the Autism Action Plan. Restoring the functionality of the Istanbul Care and Rehabilitation Family Counseling Center and increasing the number of Autism Day Care Centers were also discussed at the meeting.

Views were exchanged on ÇEGOMER

During the meeting, views were exchanged on Üsküdar University Child and Adolescent Development & Autism Center (ÇEGOMER) and the "Families at University" project.
