Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör visited Baku State University, in which a cooperation protocol was signed last year, as part of her visits to Azerbaijan. Güngör met with Rector Prof. Elçin Babyev and his delegation and expressed that the cooperation between the two universities is important. Güngör also suggested to organize an international journalism symposium together.

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör made contacts in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to make a number of visits and studies. Prof. Güngör was accompanied by Head of the Department of New Media and Communication Assoc. Prof. Gül Esra Atalay.

Güngör and Atalay visited Baku State University, where a cooperation protocol was signed last year.

Güngör met with Rector Prof. Elçin Babyev and evaluated the studies carried out so far and planned to be carried out in the future.

Expressing his satisfaction with the visit, Baku State University Rector Prof. Elchin Babyev noted that the academic cooperation protocol signed with Üsküdar University last year benefited the development of both educational institutions. Babyev pointed out that the cooperation covers the fields of education, scientific research, joint scientific seminars and conferences. Reminding that there are opportunities for cooperation in other fields, the Rector added that it is possible for the two universities to publish a joint study for the dissemination of science.

During the visit, which was held in a very friendly environment, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör emphasized that the cooperation is a cooperation that should be highly appreciated.
