It is possible to prevent work accidents!
Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) Occupational Health and Safety program organized an event titled "Occupational Accidents Evaluation Process" within the scope of the University Culture course. Class B OHS Specialist and Management Systems Specialist Muhammed Oğuzhan Hanaz participated in the event. Drawing attention to the current developments in occupational health and safety in our country, Hanaz stated that "Our goal is to prevent accidents at work. It is very important to take preventive measures on this path."
The opening speech of the program, which was held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Beylerbeyi Conference Hall, was given by Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) Occupational Health and Safety Program Head Asst. Prof. Gamze Kağan.
Asst. Prof. Gamze Kağan: “Work accidents happen a lot”
Underlining that Türkiye is one of the countries where the most occupational accidents occur, Asst. Prof. Gamze Kağan expressed that "One of the reasons why occupational health and safety is important in Türkiye is that occupational accidents occur too much. At this point, we are the first in Europe and the second in the world."
Muhammed Oğuzhan Hanaz: "It is very important to take preventive measures on this path"
Emphasizing the importance of preventive measures in occupational health and safety, Class B OHS Specialist and Management Systems Specialist Muhammed Oğuzhan Hanaz emphasized the diversity of the field of occupational health and safety.
Hanaz stated that "The institution I am currently working for is an OSGB company. OSGB company is a company that provides occupational safety services to more than one company and can also provide services in the neighboring provinces of the city where it is located. A company in İstanbul cannot serve Trabzon, but it can serve its neighbors in places where there is a land border. After seeing so many companies, I realized that no matter how much you know about the essence of the business, if you do not take precautions to prevent work accidents, it does not matter whether you are a C or A, a master's degree or a high school graduate. The aim is to prevent accidents at work. It is very important to take preventive measures on this path."
The program ended with a group photo shoot after the presentation of a certificate of appreciation to Muhammed Oğuzhan Hanaz.
