Positive Psychology Talks, which aim to realize oneself with mental well-being, happiness, hope, meaningful and purposeful life, begins... The first lecture on "Introduction to Positive Psychology: The Science of Living Well", which can be attended by anyone who is interested, will be held on Friday, April 26.

The speakers of the first course are from the authority figures in the field Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Prof. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan and Prof. Tayfun Doğan.

Participation in all classes, which are planned to last for 8 weeks, will be provided free of charge, and those who attend will be given a digital certificate of participation.

Üsküdar University, which carries out important studies in the field of Positive Psychology in Türkiye and organizes congresses in this field, is achieving a new study. Positive Psychology Talks, organized by the Positive Psychology Research and Application Laboratory within Üsküdar University, begin.

The first lecture on "Introduction to Positive Psychology: The Science of Living Well" within the scope of Positive Psychology Talks, in which anyone interested can participate, will be held on Friday, April 26, via zoom.

In the first of the Positive Psychology Talks, President of Üsküdar University, Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Dean Prof. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan, Üsküdar University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Department of Psychology Prof. Tayfun Doğan will make speeches.

The content of the Positive Psychology Talks was planned as follows:

Week 1: Introduction to Positive Psychology: The Science of Living Well

Week 2: What Does Science Say About Happiness?

Week 3: Self-Realization from Humanistic Psychology to Positive Psychology

Week 4: Human’s Search for Meaning and Mental Health

Week 5: Building Psychological Resilience Through Hope

Week 6: Post-Traumatic Growth: The Transformative Power of Pain

Week 7: Neuroplasticity as a Source of Hope

Week 8: I Love Myself Because Someone Needs to Do It: Self-Understanding

The duration of each seminar is 90 minutes of the course, which will be open to everyone. At the end of the seminars, which are free to attend, digital participation certificates will be given to those who attend all courses.
