A cooperation protocol was signed between Üsküdar Communication and Fotospor Group

Under the main sponsorship of Üsküdar University, the "Sports Journalists Compete" project will be carried out. A protocol signing ceremony was held for the project. Within the scope of the cooperation between the Faculty of Communication and the Fotospor Group, the students of the Faculty of Communication will also have the opportunity to practice and apply.

Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism is expanding its external stakeholders. In this context, a cooperation protocol was signed with Üsküdar University and Fotospor Group.

The protocol signing ceremony was attended by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Fotospor General Coordinator Cahit Yavuz, Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Bahar Muratoğlu Pehlivan, Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Journalism Department Head Assoc. Prof. Gül Esra Atalay, Üsküdar University Advisor to the Rector Prof. Süleyman İrvan, Former Football Player and Coach Giray Bulak, Secretary General Selçuk Uysaler and Üsküdar University Head of Corporate Communication Department Tahsin Aksu.

Üsküdar University will provide all the necessary support for the shooting of the "Sports Journalists Compete" project. Within the scope of the main sponsorship, the project will be carried out at Üsküdar University Radio and TV Studios.

Communication students will have internship opportunities at Fotospor Newspaper...

Within the scope of the project, the students of the Faculty of Communication will also have the opportunity to do internships at Fotospor Newspaper for the months of July, August and September 2024.

Prof. Nazife Güngör: "This project will be carried out under the wing of the Faculty of Communication"

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör drew attention to the importance of cooperation in her speech at the protocol signing ceremony and said that "We signed a protocol between the Fotospor group and Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication and gathered here to carry out some projects together in the future. This project will mostly go under the leadership of the Journalism department and under the wing of the Faculty of Communication. Our Radio, Television and Cinema department will also support."

Cahit Yavuz: "We wanted to meet with young people in this project"

Fotospor General Coordinator Cahit Yavuz talked about the importance of the project at the signing ceremony. Yavuz stated that "We are really happy. We decided to walk in such a subject. We are a team that works day and night; however, it is very difficult for us to meet with young people. Especially in this project, we wanted to meet with young people. We will be very happy to do this project together with Üsküdar University. We have two projects. One of them is the certificate program, where we, as Fotospor, want to learn something by both practicing with our team and including theory. This is very important to us. I wish you good luck in advance."

Prof. Süleyman İrvan: "This is the first time we are doing such a project"

Üsküdar University Advisor to the Rector Prof. Süleyman İrvan drew attention to the bond between the Faculty of Communication and the sector. İrvan stated that "As Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication, we have a very close relationship with the sector. Some of the students want to improve themselves in this area. In fact, sports journalism has become a very preferred field. I attach great importance to this project. I hope this cooperation will lead to other projects in the future. As an external stakeholder, we have cooperated with many institutions so far, but this is the first time we are doing such a project."

Assoc. Prof. Gül Esra Atalay: "As the Department of Journalism, we are expanding our external stakeholders..."

Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Journalism Department Head Assoc. Prof. Gül Esra Atalay said that the project is an opportunity for students. Atalay stated "We are very excited about this project because we think it will be a very important opportunity for our students and it will be very positive for us to be associated with such a project. As a journalism department, we are expanding our external stakeholders..."

Giray Bulak: "We are very happy to be with you"

Former Football Player and Coach Giray Bulak, on the other hand, expressed his happiness within the scope of the cooperation. Bulak stated that "We are very happy to be with you. I am very pleased with this approach with Üsküdar University. Hopefully, there will be good works in the future, and we will contribute both on behalf of our students and on behalf of you."

Tahsin Aksu: "This project will be of great benefit to our institutions..."

Üsküdar University Head of Corporate Communication Department Tahsin Aksu expressed his satisfaction with this cooperation as Corporate Communications. Aksu stated that "We think that our mutual cooperation will be of great benefit to our institutions both with internship opportunities and in this project."
