The "Science and Idea Festival", organized by Üsküdar University in cooperation with the İstanbul Directorate of National Education, is being held for the 9th time this year.

Üsküdar University has been organizing the Science and Ideas Festival for 9 years without interruption. In recent years, Üsküdar University has discovered a new treatment method that has come to the stage of clinical tests in the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and has recently carried out the "MESSAGE" experiment, which is one of the 13 projects carried out by Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı in space and investigates the relationship between the immune system of genes affected by the zero-gravity environment and function of which has not yet been discovered.

The theme of this year's festival is "Your Idea, Your Invention!". The application deadline for the project is March 15, 2024. The preliminary evaluation results of the projects will be announced on April 22.

At the festival, which will be held between May 30-31, 2024, awards worth a total of 300 thousand liras will be distributed to the students who rank in all categories.

While interesting ideas compete in the festival, which attracts more and more attention every year, young people experience the happiness of producing and discovering in a fun, colorful and enjoyable competition environment.
