Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was commemorated by all the departments of Üsküdar on his 85th anniversary of his passing

On the 85th anniversary of his passing to eternity, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, was once again commemorated with mercy, gratitude and respect at the commemoration program held at all locations of Üsküdar University. At five minutes past nine, the flags were lowered to half-mast, and one minute’s silence was observed with sirens. Then, the national anthem was recited.

As every year, Üsküdar University organizes commemoration events on November 10, Atatürk Commemoration Day and Week.

On November 10, 1938, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk passed away from his beloved homeland and his life.

Atatürk, a leader who was often taken as an example and loved not only by the Turkish people but also by other nations, said goodbye to us on November 10, 1938 at five past nine.

Atatürk is commemorated with various events throughout the country every November 10 since his passing.

Üsküdar University commemorated Mustafa Kemal Atatürk on all campuses together with its academic, administrative and expert staff, as well as its students when the clocks showed 09:05.

Members of the Üsküdar family, who went out at their locations, once again commemorated Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect, love and gratitude.

A one minute’s silence was observed and the national anthem was recited.
