“Health Administrators’ Day” Event Organized

The “Health Administrators’ Day” event was organized by the Health Management Club of Üsküdar University. The event, which featured the participation of many experts in the field, provided young attendees with valuable advice. Highlighting the essentials for a successful career in health administration, the event attracted significant interest from participants.

Prominent figures attending the event included Üsküdar University Rector’s Advisor Prof. Mehmet Zelka, Üsküdar University Health Management Department Representative Şevval Çiloğlu, Konya Selçuk University Faculty of Medicine Graduate Cengiz Gül, II. Abdulhamit Han Training and Research Hospital Healthcare Services Manager Feyza Çetinkaya Kutun, Hacettepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Health Administration Department Graduate Sedat Şimşek, and Üsküdar University Health Management Graduate and Administrative Affairs and Quality Control Officer at Çakır Group, Adem Arslan.

During the event, experts informed students about the areas in which they should improve themselves and shared advice on the challenges they might face after graduation.

Prof. Mehmet Zelka: “We must develop our human capital”

Üsküdar University Rector’s Advisor Prof. Mehmet Zelka delivered the opening speech. Zelka stated that “In the future, you will also hold managerial positions. Until then, we must develop our human capital. We need this. Human activities are what define us, distinguish individuals from one another, and comprise their unique qualities. We must enhance these qualities.”

Şevval Çiloğlu: “Providing more effective solutions in this field is our common goal”

Speaking at the event, Üsküdar University Health Management Department Representative Şevval Çiloğlu expressed that: “Health management is a critical field for improving and sustaining Türkiye’s healthcare system. Providing more effective solutions in this field is our common goal. We continue to work toward this objective.”

Cengiz Gül: “We serve a wide spectrum”

Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine Graduate Cengiz Gül remarked that “As my fellow students know, we serve a very important sector. It is not just about hospitals; however, we serve a wide spectrum across all areas of healthcare...”

Feyza Çetinkaya Kutun: “Value your opinions”

II. Abdulhamit Han Training and Research Hospital Healthcare Services Manager Feyza Çetinkaya Kutun expressed that “If you have something on your mind, regardless of your age, please value and appreciate your opinions.”

Sedat Şimşek: “You must learn a foreign language”

Hacettepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Health Administration Department Graduate Sedat Şimşek advised that “To my fellow students, my recommendation is to ensure you have proficiency in a foreign language related to your field. During your student years, decide which area of healthcare you wish to advance in...”

Adem Arslan: “I am delighted to be here with you”

Üsküdar University Health Management Graduate and Administrative Affairs and Quality Control Officer at Çakır Group, Adem Arslan made the following remarks: “I started an internship during my sophomore year. I was inexperienced, staring blankly at my surroundings. I used to wonder about the guests who came here, thinking, ‘What did they do to be here?’ However, now, I am here too. I am delighted to be here with you...”

The event concluded after the participants’ questions were addressed.
