Üsküdar communication students are running towards another success. Burcu Genç and Melda Zeynep Sarı, senior students of the Department of Advertising, qualified for the finals of the Young Crystal competition this year as well. Üsküdar University became one of the two foundation universities that made it to the finals.

This year, the main sponsor of the competition was determined as Akbank and the students participating in the competition developed their creative projects in line with the brief given by Akbank.

Among the projects participating in the competition in line with the briefs given, the project of Burcu Genç and Melda Zeynep Sarı, who are senior students of Üsküdar University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Advertising, qualified for the finals this year as well.

In the project by Genç and Sarı:

The following briefs were used: "Gender pay gap. Bringing gender pay inequality to the public agenda through the power of communication. To explain the strong stance and policies of a leading institution like Akbank on this issue."

Üsküdar University became one of the two foundation universities on the list

At the same time, Üsküdar University became one of the two foundation universities that made it to the finals in the announced list.

They were finalists in 2023

Last year, Zeynep Sarı and Burcu Genç made it to the finals under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Cihan Becan in the 2023 Young Crystal competition. Genç and Sarı were entitled to be finalists with their presentation.

The award ceremony will be held on October 7

The award ceremony of the competition will be held on October 7 at Tersane İstanbul.

The competition, hosted by Kristal Elma and organized by the Advertising Foundation for 3rd and 4th year university students, is taking place for the seventh time this year with the aim to inspire university students preparing for the sector and to bring them together with the advertising world.
