Within the scope of the Social Innovation Projects protocol signed between Üsküdar University and the Confederation of Black Sea Non-Governmental Organizations (KASTOB), "Project Cycle Management" training was held for young people in cooperation with the Kastamonu Federation of Associations (Kas-Der-Fed). The training, which was offered under the leadership of Üsküdar University Project Development Coordinator Asst.Prof. Nebiye Yaşar, offered a unique opportunity to improve the project writing and management skills of young people.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Black Sea Non-Governmental Organizations (KASTOB) Nevzat Duyar, President of the Federation of Kastamonu Associations Fatma Kıranoğlu, Üsküdar University Project Development Coordinator Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar, academicians and students participated in the training.
They had the opportunity to develop their leadership skills
Project Cycle Management is considered one of the cornerstones of being successful in today's world. All processes from the idea stage to the conclusion of a project were explained to the young people in detail in the training. During the training, young people learned about project planning, resource management, implementation and evaluation, while they had the opportunity to develop teamwork and leadership skills at the same time.
It is aimed to increase participation in social innovation projects
The education program, which was strengthened with the academic support of Üsküdar University, made a great contribution to both the professional and personal development of young people. The training, which was held with the active participation of KASTOB Youth Branches, aimed to increase the participation of young people in social innovation projects and to encourage them to develop projects that are beneficial for the society.

Üsküdar University Project Development Coordinator Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar drew attention to the importance of the education provided and pointed out that the projects of young people are experienced together. Yaşar stated that "The education given here is very important not only in Türkiye but also in the world. You will brainstorm on the important problems you will face today and solve these problems by projecting. In these project studies, and we will experience the transformation process of an idea into a project together by getting your feedback at every step. This cycle is from idea to implementation and reporting. We will work on this together."
"A person who directs the youth to the good also directs humanity to the good"
Yaşar said that three things will change the world: "Young people, in fact, every project is very useful for us to get to know ourselves, to see our roles in society, and to strengthen ourselves and society. Moreover, we do very effective studies and programs to get to know the people in our road story. There is one thing I always say. Three things will change the world. A well-educated young man, and a good project and hard work... What directs the youth to the good also directs humanity to the good. Everything from the birth of an idea to its results, and evaluation and reporting is in this cycle. The cycle here is what we call project cycle management. The training you have received is an education that supports this."
Nevzat Duyar: "We must unite by thinking about the future"
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Black Sea Non-Governmental Organizations (KASTOB) Nevzat Duyar stated that "I would like to thank President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Project Development Coordinator Dr. Nebiye Yaşar, our esteemed professors and dear young people who provided us with these opportunities. I hope that none of these projects will be left unfinished. We must unite by thinking about tomorrow."
