Communicators from Üsküdar are now in the finals of the 'TRT Communicators of the Future' competition...
Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication students, who participated in the 'TRT Communicators of the Future’ competition organized by TRT to discover talented young people in the field of communication, became finalists with three different projects in two categories. Within the scope of the competition, the documentary "Türkiye's Space Journey" in the documentary film category of the people of Üsküdar, and the films "Loneliness" and "The Ring in the Lighthouse" in the Animation film category achieved great success.
In the TRT Future Communicators competition, three projects of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication students in two different categories were entitled to be finalists.
"Türkiye's Space Journey" made it to the finals in the documentary category
The documentary titled "Türkiye's Space Journey" was one of the finalists in the documentary film category.
The documentary, which was signed by Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication students Diyorbek Abdurakhimov, Mukadder Güneş and Zeynep Erva Karaçay, focused on Türkiye's space exploration and advances in this field. The consultant of the project is Üsküdar University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism. Prof. Ceren Saran Doğan.
In the documentary, the experiments of the first Turkish astronaut Alper Gezeravcı in space and Üsküdar University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics Asst. Prof. Cihan Taştan and the TRGENMER team's "Message" experiment were featured.
In the animated film category, two projects made it to the finals
The film "Loneliness", which qualified for the finals in the animation film category, bears the signature of Esin Ülkü, one of the students of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication. Author and illustrator Esin Ülkü achieved great success by making it to the finals with her 2D animation.
The consultant of the project is Üsküdar University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Cartoon and Animation Instructor Özgül Öztürk.
The second project that made it to the finals in the animation film category, "The Ring in the Lighthouse", bears the signature of Kadriye Çetinkaya, a student of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication. Çetinkaya qualified for the finals with her 3D animation.
The consultant of the project is Üsküdar University, Faculty of Communication, Department of Visual Communication Design, Asst. Prof. Dicle Yıldırım.
