A technical trip was organized to BOTAŞ LNG Operations Directorate
Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Occupational Health and Safety Department academicians and students participated in the technical trip of BOTAŞ LNG Operations Directorate, which was held for the 9th time within the scope of "Occupational Health and Safety Week Activities". During the two-day technical trip, students had the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge. Presentations were made within the scope of the trip.
The technical trip held in Tekirdağ Marmaraereğlisi was attended by Üsküdar University Head of Occupational Health and Safety Department Asst. Prof. Rüştü Uçan, Asst. Prof. Hacer Kayhan, Instructor Mustafa Cüneyt Gezen and Drager Safety operating in the field of OHS, Nümeko, Ziel Technology companies and nearby facilities EÜAŞ and Bütan Gaz.

Personnel and Training Manager of BOTAŞ LNG Plant Erdem Danyeli informed on the duties, powers and responsibilities of BOTAŞ, the operations carried out at the facility, and the works carried out by the facility in Türkiye and in the world.
The students were informed about the risks encountered in the field and the regulatory-preventive activities implemented in relation to them, personnel trainings, safe work and prevention of occupational accidents by Class A Occupational Safety Specialist Salih Uzun, who works full-time at the facility. At the same time, students had the opportunity to visit the facility accompanied by an occupational safety expert and experience their theoretical knowledge in practice.

Within the scope of the trip, in addition to the presentations of Head of the Department of Occupational Health and Safety Asst. Prof. Rüştü Uçan, Asst. Prof. Hacer Kayhan and Instructor. Mustafa Cüneyt Gezen, Üsküdar University Institute of Health Sciences Occupational Health and Safety Doctorate Program students Dr. Zuhal Yazıcı Gökbulut and Serap Duman made presentations.
Later, Training and Application Manager Mert Akpınar from Dräger Safety and Co-Founder, Sales and Dealer Supervisor Emre Cam from Ziel Teknoloji also made their presentations.
The trip ended with a group photo shoot.
