Young ideas fed by the deep roots of the Black Sea came together with the "Giresun Youth Meetings" held at Üsküdar University. The cultural heritage blended with the innovations of the digital age and the energy of the youth echoed like a melody. Director of the Young Minds Academy Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar drew attention to the importance of equipping young people with scientific and cultural knowledge and stated that "Inspired by our roots, we prepare our young people for the innovations of the digital world and the world of science.”

The program took place at Üsküdar University Main Campus Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall.

The program was attended by Nevzat Duyar, President of the Confederation of Black Sea Non-Governmental Organizations (KASTOB), İzzet Mermer, President of the Youth Association, Halil Kütük, Founding President of Giresun Youth Association, Digitalism Writer Said Ercan, Businessman Kemal Tokmak, President of Giresun and Bureaucrats Association, and members of the board of directors, President of Giresun Physicians and Health Workers Association Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sebahattin Destek and members of the board of directors, Investigative Journalist-Documentary Producer İsmail Kahraman, Ahmet Yılmaz, President of the Confederation of Tokat Associations, business people from Giresun, academicians, KASTOB Board Members, Üsküdar University Secretary General Selçuk Uysaler, Health, Culture and Sports Department Manager Sadık Paksoy, Deputy Manager Selman Utku and university students .

Üsküdar University Project Development and Youth Club Advisor and Director of Young Minds Academy Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar drew attention to the importance of equipping young people with scientific and cultural knowledge. Yaşar said that "Inspired by our roots, we prepare our young people for the innovations of the digital world and the world of science. This meeting is not just an event. It is a start for young people to move forward with stronger steps into the future. We are not only coming together here, but also carrying a deep-rooted culture to the future with science and solidarity." Yaşar addressed the young people: "Each of you is the author of your own story. These events are there to strengthen your stories and make you better equipped individuals."

The Black Sea Wind Program, presented by Aytaç Öksüz, continued with the greeting speech of İzzet Mermer, President of Giresun Youth Association. Mermer stated that "The young people of Giresun are not only the hope of our country, but also the hope of the future. Own your dreams and believe in yourself." Drawing attention to the importance of cultural heritage, Marble said that "We all know that it is not possible to walk into the future without knowing our roots. The purpose of these meetings is to bring the past together with the future and to ensure that our young people are prepared for life as strong individuals."

Halil Kütük: "Young people who act in unity will be the leaders of the future"

Founding President of Giresun Youth Association Halil Kütük touched on the spirit of solidarity of young people. Saying that youth is a power kneaded with idealism, Kütük said that "Such events, which blend the strong culture of Giresun and the Black Sea with the innovations of the digital age, are a great source of pride for us. Young people who act in unity will be the leaders of the future. What makes us who we are is our ability to produce together. We trust our young people."

Said Ercan: "Be individuals who not only consume but also produce"

Digitalism Writer Said Ercan made a presentation titled "Being a Digital Youth". Ercan gave a speech on the transformative power of technology, the position of the individual in the digital world and the importance of taking responsibility in this age. Emphasizing that digitalization is not only a tool, but also an area of responsibility, Ercan said that "Young people, be individuals who not only consume but also produce the digital world.”

A cultural journey with folk songs...

The event turned into a journey to the unique nature and culture of the Black Sea with Giresun folk songs sung by Savaş Karaman, the President of Grup Türkiyem. The melodies, echoing with homesickness, bound the participants together with an emotional bond. The wind of the Black Sea blended with the innovative spirit of the youth and became a bridge from culture and the past to the future.

The cultural richness of the Black Sea is a source of inspiration for young people

At the event, Nevzat Duyar, President of the Confederation of Black Sea Non-Governmental Organizations (KASTOB), emphasized the importance of social projects for young people, while HCS Manager in Charge of Clubs Sadık Paksoy and International Gastronomy Expert Nurettin Bezcioğlu emphasized the effects of culture and youth projects on reaching large masses.

In addition, participation in the program KASTOB High Advisory Board Chairman Mahmut Ekşi and İshak Koçoğlu pointed out that the cultural richness of the Black Sea is a source of inspiration for young people.
