On the first anniversary of its establishment, the Celiac Foundation organized a gala dinner to raise social awareness about celiac disease and draw attention to the effects of the disease. The foundation gave a plaque of appreciation to those who touched the lives of celiac people and contributed to supporting them to live more comfortably. In the program attended by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör and Advisor to the Rector, Üsküdar University and NPİSTANBUL Hospital Group Coordinator Serdar Karagöz, plaques of appreciation were presented to Güngör and Karagöz on behalf of President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan.
The Celiac Foundation, which started its activities in 2023 to eliminate the deficiencies of celiac patients and to make living with the disease easier all over Türkiye, provides support in education, health and social needs to reduce the difficulties they face in everyday life.
In the first year of the foundation's establishment, to contribute to social awareness about celiac disease, a gala dinner was held at a hotel in Söğütözü under the sponsorship of gluten-free food brand Dr. Schar.
The program was attended by deputies, bureaucrats, foundation members and managers, representatives of non-governmental organizations, rectors, instructors and students.

The gala dinner was attended by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör and Advisor to the Rector, Üsküdar University and NPİSTANBUL Hospital Group Coordinator Serdar Karagöz.
On behalf of Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Karagöz and Güngör were presented with plaques of appreciation by Dr. Elif Bal Beşikçi, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Celiac Foundation.
A cooperation protocol was signed...
In the past months, a cooperation protocol was signed between Üsküdar University and the Celiac Foundation. To raise awareness of celiac disease in Türkiye, the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Celiac Foundation Dr. Elif Bal Beşikçi and the President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan gathered together.
