Üsküdar University, which attaches importance to women's participation in business life, has once again proved its place among women's employee-friendly institutions. According to the data of the Council of Higher Education, the rate of woman academics in universities in Türkiye is 46.4 percent, while this rate is 43 percent in Europe and OECD countries. Üsküdar University, on the other hand, has the woman academician rate of 53.6, which is above the average of both Türkiye and OECD countries.

 

At Üsküdar University, which is aware of the importance of women's employment in business life, it was seen that the number of female employees was higher than in Europe and OECD countries when the academic staff data were examined.

In Europe and OECD countries, the average is 43 percent.

According to the data released by the Council of Higher Education, the rate of women academics in Türkiye is above the averages of European and OECD countries. So much so that there are a total of 181,498 academic staff in universities in Türkiye. Of these, 97,291 are men and 84,207 are women.

According to this, the rate of female academics in our country is 46.4 percent.
