Antalya Youth Workshop brought together new ideas and inspiring projects...
In the 2071 vision, the youth leaders of the future came together at the 'Antalya Youth Workshop' organized within the scope of the "My Values, Tradition and Science: I am Young Türkiye” Project. 'Project Cycle Management Training' was given by Üsküdar University Young Minds Academy Director Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar. Within the scope of the workshop, it was aimed for young people to discuss new ideas, develop inspiring projects and make positive contributions to society.
90 young people from various universities participated in the workshop which is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sport and was held under the direction of Antalya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports and the consultancy of Üsküdar University, in cooperation with Antalya Governorship Provincial Directorate of Social Studies Projects, White Cane Association, İLKE-Der and Black Sea Non-Governmental Organizations (KASTOB).
'Project Cycle Management Training' was given
In the workshop that encourages young people to think innovatively and cooperate with their solution-oriented approaches to social problems, Üsküdar University Young Minds Academy Director Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar gave "Project Cycle Management Training".
At the workshop held at Antalya Aladdin Keykubat Youth Camp, Dr. Yaşar stated that the workshop encouraged connection and sharing of knowledge and experience among young people.

One of the academic advisors of the project, Akdeniz University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Sami Mencet provided academic support to the projects prepared by the young people by mentoring. Mencet stated that "This workshop provides an opportunity to unleash the potential of young people to find solutions to problems in their communities, while providing them with leadership and collaboration skills."
Director of Muratpaşa Youth Center of Antalya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports Süleyman Yıldız provided significant support to the workshop with the young people and youth leaders of the Youth Centers. Antalya Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yavuz Gürhan emphasized that they support the development of young people in every field and that young people come to the fore as the key to social transformation and development.
KASTOB Chairman Nevzat Duyar stated that the mission of protecting the values of young people and keeping their tradition alive was realized in the light of science and in this youth workshop.
Prof. Nevzat Tarhan: "Those with passionate projects win"
President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan expressed that excitement and passion must be added to the work done in his message and said: "Those who have ambitious projects win. If a person embraces the project with love and enthusiasm, this becomes a project. You have to add your excitement and passion to what you do."
Developing and presenting projects in the fields of sustainability, education, technology, health and more, the participants, who were inspired by each other, developed the following projects with their mentors:

Under the mentorship of Akdeniz University Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Sami Mencet, the project study on "Early Substance Use (Addiction)",
Under the mentorship of Antalya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports Muratpaşa Youth Center Youth Leader Tolgahan and Elif Yıldırım, the project work on "Passivity/unproductivity in technology",
Under the mentorship of İlke-Der Chairman of the Board of Directors Hülya Yılmaz, the project study on "Uncertainty and future anxiety in young people",

Under the mentorship of President of Black Sea Non-Governmental Organizations Nevzat Duyar, the project work on "Virtual Gambling Addiction"
And, under the mentorship of Antalya Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports Muratpaşa Youth Center Youth Leader Ayşegül Bedir, the project on "Unhappiness of the new generation of young people aged 18-25".
