Prof. Güler Cimete: "We need to pass on our achievements to future generations"

Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Midwifery Department Head Prof. Güler Cimete pointed out that the achievements should be further strengthened and transferred to future generations. Cimete stated that "We see that very strong foundations were laid in the first years of the Republic. I think that the steps taken especially for women are very important. At a time when gender discrimination is very intense even today, and women have gained thanks to Atatürk in many countries that we consider developed countries at a time when women could not find and their existence was not cared for. We have come to this day with the reflections of this in our country. We need to know the value of these. We need to continue our achievements by strengthening them, developing them further, embracing them wholeheartedly and passing them on to future generations."

Prof. Arif Aktuğ Ertekin: "Our duty is not to grieve the death of our ancestor, but to carry his ideas further"

Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Dean Prof. Arif Aktuğ Ertekin mentioned that the idea and development processes should be moved to better places in today's conditions. Ertekin stated that "I commemorate with respect and gratitude those who contributed to the establishment of our Republic, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his comrades-in-arms, those whose names are known, who have supported the survival of our unknown Republic until these days, and who have lost their lives. My belief that our Republic will be advanced and will continue to exist has never been lost. In such a period of time, such great things were done under the leadership of a leader who had an extremely broad vision and a broad world view. We are fortunate that that leader came across us. I think that it is not our duty to grieve the death of our ancestor, but to carry these ideas and development processes to better places in today's conditions."
