Üsküdar District Director of National Education Semih Durmuş Paid a Visit to Üsküdar University

Üsküdar District Director of National Education Semih Durmuş paid a visit to President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör. Durmuş said that they closely follow the work of Üsküdar University during the courtesy visit, where the issue of providing professional Values Education within the scope of the Science of Happiness was also discussed.

After the appointment of District Director of National Education Sinan Aydın as the Eskişehir Provincial Director of National Education, Semih Durmuş was appointed to the position of the Üsküdar District Director of National Education.

Durmuş paid a visit President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör. Secretary General Selçuk Uysaler, Deputy Secretary General Ayşe Öztürk and Head of Corporate Communications Department Tahsin Aksu also participated in the visit held at the Senate Meeting Hall.

Ideas were exchanged on the development and continuation of cooperation in education in the new semester during the courtesy visit, where the issue of providing professional Values Education within the scope of the Science of Happiness was also discussed

Who is Semih Durmuş?

He was born in 1972 in Şalpazarı district of Trabzon province. After completing his primary and secondary education in Trabzon and his higher education at Malatya İnönü University (1994), he completed his master's degree in Educational Administration at Istanbul Sebahattin Zaim University (2019).

In 1994, he started to work as a teacher in Ordu-Kabataş. In 2001, he was appointed as a teacher in Beykoz district of Istanbul province and respectively. worked as a teacher and director in Üsküdar and Ümraniye districts. After working as a branch manager at Üsküdar District Directorate of National Education for a short period, he was appointed as Üsküdar District Director of National Education on 13/07/2023 while he was the Principal of Üsküdar Hafize Özal Secondary School.

He took part in many non-governmental organizations.

He is married and a father of 3 daughters.
